01 — Overview

Plenty of talented artists never get seen. ArtNagar gives local artists a stage to show their work, reach a wider audience and turn their passion into a sustainable profession.

The problem

Local artists often lack a trusted place to display their portfolio, sell directly to buyers and raise money for exhibitions. Collectors, on the other hand, struggle to discover work happening in their own city.

The idea

One app that connects both sides: artists build profiles, sell prints and crowdfund shows, while art lovers explore local galleries, follow events and buy work in a few taps.

02 — Features

What the app does

Empowering artists

Create a personal profile, upload work and present your journey with simple tools that give patrons an immersive view of your art.

Monetizing creativity

Sell directly through a secure, streamlined purchase flow — choose a size and orientation, then buy. Artists get fair compensation without the usual barriers.

Funding artistic dreams

Artists hosting an exhibition can run a fundraising campaign with a progress bar, a date and venue, and a clear donate action.

A canvas for explorers

A curated selection of local galleries and artists, filtered by category: painting, visual art, contemporary, sculpture and more.

Connecting with events

An events section keeps users informed about gallery openings, art fairs and cultural gatherings nearby.

03 — The screens

A walkthrough of the core flow

  • Scrollable categories: All, Painting, Visual Art, Contemporary, Sculpture
  • Persistent bottom bar: home, add, menu
  • Wordmark and tagline keep the brand present

  • The search icon swaps to a close icon to exit

The artist's page leads with a portrait and name, then a horizontal strip of featured work. Below it, a fundraising card supports exhibitions, and a second view lists the artist's full body of work.

  • Featured work carousel
  • Fundraising card: event, date, venue, progress and Donate
  • Artist's Work: a scrolling list of every piece

04 — Design notes

Quiet interface, loud art

The interface stays dark and neutral so the artwork supplies all the colour. Surfaces are soft charcoal, buttons have a subtle metallic finish, and gradient glows appear only on overlay screens.

HOME SCREEN

An italic and bold serif wordmark and serif headings give the app a gallery feel. A thin, light sans for screen labels and body copy keeps the supporting text out of the way.
